Introduction

Chuck Pierce; December 2011 & January 2012

At the HAPN/USRPN National Conference in December 2011, and the GOZ Crossing Over conference in January 2012, Chuck Pierce spoke the same word for Iowa three different times at these two meetings.  Chuck prophesied:

1.“The eye of the Lord is on Iowa” and “His glory is coming to Iowa”
2.“The eye of the Lord is on Iowa” and “Iowa you will see His glory.”
3.“The eye of the Lord is on Iowa” and “Iowa will be visited by His glory.”

“Iowa is an acronym for Intercessors on World Affairs. Iowa Intercessors are called to change world affairs. Iowa is a tipping point state.  This is a tipping point time where God wants to throw this state into a massive move of God.  You’re on the verge of the birth pangs of revival. This state is about to deliver. God wants to light a fire of reformation.  Iowa is an Issachar State. A Large number of people will move into Iowa.

“There are new companies coming in, new cities being built, it will not hurt the farming. In the next few years the population will double. The flight in Iowa will be reversed. Iowa will be a state of visitation. You have been visited by politicians, the Lord says you are going to be visited by Me, and you’re going to be visited by My power. Iowa will be a state of miracles. Iowans will understand land issues…know how to sanctify the land.

You’re going to see award winning giant vegetables.  The curse has been broken off the land in Iowa. I’m going to release my glory says God.  Iowa is an altar to me says the Lord and I’m going to cause 24/7 prayer houses to spring up. Iowa is a prophetic discerning state. You’ll be seers. Iowa is a Daniel and Joseph state…governmental, but also a Joseph anointing.  There will be a national poll taken and the number of entrepreneurs and new business start-ups coming from Iowa will exceed all of other states. 

Is there faith in the house?  Satan will try to build strongholds to try and undermine your destiny.  Issachar Strong donkey (strong fire), but his love of comfort could also cause him to settle down for the easy way out.  Jacob said, Issachar, strong fighter, but love of comfort could settle for the easy way out. It is time for Iowa to wake up!”

Monday Business/Economy

-Pray Isaiah 55: 12-13: “You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. Instead of the thorn brush will grow the pine tree, and instead of briers the myrtle will grow. This will be for the Lord’s renown, for an everlasting sign, which will not be destroyed.”

-Pray for Iowa Businesses to prosper

-Pray Isaiah 45:3: “I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden wealth of secret places.”

-Pray Deuteronomy 8:18: “But you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who is giving you the power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant which He swore to your Fathers, as it is this day.”

-Pray Proverbs 10:22: “It is the blessing of the Lord that makes rich, and He adds no sorrow to it.”

Tuesday: Business/Economy

-Pray for Agriculture and Natural Resources and hidden oil to come forth in our state.

-Pray God uncover the natural resources that are hidden to supply all our needs.

-Pray for state, national and international connections in agriculture and natural resources need to be handled uprightly. We need to know those who labor among us.  The resources given us will support us if we live upright before Our God.

-Pray Exodus 23:25-26: “Worship the Lord your God, and His blessing will be on your food and water.  I will take away sickness from among you, and none will miscarry or be barren in your land.  I will give you a full life span.”

-Pray Malachi 3:10: “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house.  Test me in this, says the Lord almighty and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”

-Pray Lord where we haven’t worshipped You in our land we repent.  Help us restore worship to You that results in Your blessings on our food and water and gives us a full life span. Help us worship You with our whole selves; body, mind and spirit. Convict us to honor You with our tithes and to expect the increase.

-Pray Genesis 2:9 “Out of the ground the Lord God caused to grow every tree that is pleasing to the sight and good for food.”

-Father, You who cause growth from the ground, send moisture for our crops and gardens.  Furnish seed that will produce seed for the next season to feed livestock and provide nutritious food for our minds and bodies.

-Pray Creator God, cause the earth to work with us to clean and purify our air, water, and land.

Wednesday: Government

Pray for our current elected officials (please see “Current Elected Officials” section of this prayer guide).

Thursday: Government

-Pray Romans 13:1: “Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.”
-Pray that our government officials be the ones God appoints and that His will is accomplished in our land.

-Pray that our government officials will be guided by God’s eternal truths and not man’s quest for power and wealth.

-Pray Romans 1:16-17: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, ‘The just shall live by faith.’”

-Pray that our nation will once again honor God and His Word and that our Biblical foundation, Christian morals, and values will be not only accepted but treasured in this land.

-Pray Isaiah 58:12: “Those from among you shall build the old waste places; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and you shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to dwell in.”

-Pray for the healing of this nation to establish safety and security in our streets and a wholesome godly culture in which to raise our children.

Friday: Marriage & Family

-Lord we repent and ask forgiveness for the divorce in the church. Lord help couples to see marriage through your eyes and we ask that you would heal the broken and damaged hearts as a result of divorce in families. As the church we now say; “What God has joined together we will not put away.”  (Matthew 19:6: “So they are no longer two but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.”)

-Pray Malachi 4:6: “And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to their children and the heart of the children to their fathers.  Lord turn the hearts of the fathers and the hearts of the children towards each other.” This is the time for the healing of the families.

-Pray Isaiah 54:17: “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, every tongue that rise against you in judgment we shall condemn.”

Saturday: Marriage & Family

-Pray that the weapons coming against God’s family structure will not succeed, and the voice of the enemy will be silenced.

-Pray Genesis 1:17: “So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him, male and female created He them.”

-Pray Genesis 1:31: “God saw everything that He had made, and behold it was very good.”

-Pray God’s established foundation for the marriage and family as male and female will prevail. The marriage and family is returning to our foundation in the Word, because God said it is very good.

-Pray Luke 4:18. Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted. Lord heal the broken hearts of our families!

Sunday: Ekklesia (Church)

There are many issues facing the church today. Abortion, same-sex marriage, fear, deception, carnality, lack of the teaching of God’s Word, and a coldness that has crept into the walls of the church.

-Pray Isaiah 52:1: “Awake, awake: put on strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments.”

-Pray for the church to awaken from its spiritual slumber.

-Pray Isaiah 60:1-4 “Arise shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light and kings to the brightness of thy rising. Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.”

-Pray For the church to arise and be seen by the world as God’s answer to its sin, hopelessness and deception.

-Pray Ephesians 6:19-20: “And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel. For which I am an ambassador in bonds, that, therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.”

-Pray for the church to go forth boldly witnessing and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, for the next generation of Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, Teachers, and all the five-fold ministers to be called, trained, and sent. 

-Pray for the church to know how to pray the prayer of salvation with people.

-Pray Isaiah 55:10: “For as the rain and snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth And making it bear and sprout, and furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so shall My Word be which goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.”

-Pray for the church in Iowa to arise and fulfill all the prophetic words spoken over her.

2. Senate Agriculture Committee

The committee has postponed the farm bill mark-up.

Pray for God’s wisdom for our farm bill and that His will be done.

3. Abortion Laws

The Iowa House has approved a measure calling for new restrictions on the use of taxpayer dollars to pay for abortions. The measure passed by a vote of 57-to-37. It would ban public funding of abortions except in cases where the procedure is needed to save the life of the mother.  Current law allows taxpayer-funded abortions in cases of rape, incest or to save the life of the mother. Critics say the measure is unfair to low-income women but supporters say public money shouldn’t pay for a procedure that many people oppose. (1)

4. Gambling

Gambling revenues nearly flat this year in gambling! (2)

Pray for gambling to continue to drop in our state, and that the owners of the casinos will get saved!

5. Same Sex Marriage

Read here about same sex marriage in Iowa.

Pray for a conviction of hearts in the Iowa Senate that marriage is between one man and one woman according to the Word of God.

Pray for the Iowa elections that there will be a shift in the Iowa Senate, where the Democrats keep blocking the bills written for Iowa citizens to have the right to vote on same sex marriage issues.

Prayer Points

-Please pray Colossians 2:1-14 over our elected officials.

-Pray for all possible corruption within the hearts of these political leaders to be exposed, with subsequent repentance and reconciliation to their Creator. (Romans 8:21)

-Pray for these leaders to see the value in biblical principles, and would lead from a biblical worldview. (Proverbs 28:2)
