Prophetic Word by Cindy Jacobs:

The Lord would say, I’m going to make Hawai’i the “belt buckle” of the rim of fire. And the Lord would say, will it not be the belt buckle or the belt of truth, says God. For I’m getting ready to begin to put truth as emanated from Hawai’i to the ends of the earth says the Lord. Hawai’i is going to be instrumental in restoring the Creator’s creation in a unique way says the Lord and also says God the Creator’s truth that stands forever.

The Lord would say its gong to be an incredible thing, I’m going to begin to loose from Hawaii a missionary movement, says the Lord. God says I am even going to use the Hawaiian’s on the mainland in a very unique way says the Lord - even from the east coast of Boston where the truth came from and where the prayers of truth came from says the Lord.

I’m going to put an anointing on this next generation in a great way, they will speak truth and not lies says the Lord, and the Lord would say I’m going to do a great and mighty work at the University of Hawai’i says the Lord. I’m going to sweep like a mighty rushing wind says GOD, I’m going to come with the wind of the Holy Spirit and I’m going to blow with great miracles. I’m going to come with signs in the heaven and signs in the earth says the Lord.

And God says you watch and see what I will do, for I will put the worship of God and rebuild the Tabernacle of David says the Lord. And I AM going to come with a new anointing to redeem cultures. I’m going to come and put upon my people the anointing to sound in the heaven the songs of the Redeemer says the Lord. And it will affect the earth says God.

So God says I’m coming as the God of provision to begin to release that truth. I’m going to put the belt buckle that is going to release truth that will begin to connect all the Rim of Fire nations. For there is a connectivity that I am giving and the Lord would say I will connect all the islands as well and I’m going to hang them like pearls upon my belt, says the Lord. And I am coming with a new, fresh wind of the spirit, a Pentecost wind that will blow says God in a way you cannot imagine. For you would say how long oh Lord can you visit us? And I would say the time is NOW for the visitation.

Hawaii Week of Prayer

Hawai’i has a foundation built upon revival in the Islands. Praying in the 21st Century for Hawai’i and the nations of the world is the heart and desire of the USRPN-Hawaii network. We long to see God reign in the Islands of Hawai’i.

Hawai’i great History is “Hawai’i Great Awakening!”
In the 1800’s Christianity was introduced to Hawaiians for the first time. Hawai’i’s Great Awakening “broke out on the Island of Hawai’i in 1837 and spread throughout the Hawaiian kingdom. By the 1850s the census showed that 96% of Hawaiians were Christians!” (Christian Voice of Hawaii)

Join Hawai’i as we pray- E Hui pū kākou a pula mau a mau. E ola mau ka lōkahi!

Monday, April 2, 2012 & Tuesday, April 3, 2012: Business/Economy

1.) Pray for our business community to return to the ancient paths – release a revelation that it is God who gives the power to get wealth.  Call forth the covenant anointing that releases wealth within the land – those who would seek Him first, let it be released with in them.
2.) Pray for an awakening of those in business and directly associated with our economy for witty inventions and ideas.  Release a new vision for our economy in the hearts of the Kingdom builders.
3.) Call forth the Godly business owners, inventors and creators to come and enter their places of authority.  Cry out for those who have been given an anointing to stand on the business/economy mountain to do so – pray for their sphere of influence to be strengthened and enlarged.
4.) Pray for a redefining of the economy with the hearts and minds of the people – which they would begin to speak out God’s economy over the land.  Let the Word of the Lord rise up with the spirit of His Church – that they would speak to the mountain of lack, speak to the mountain of our economy and loose fruitfulness and abundance to it.
5.) Pray for those whom God has called to this mountain to take their places on the mountain and cry out for His Kingdom purposes to come forth.

5.) Pray for the protection of all of Hawaii’s military bases.
Friday, April 6, 2012 & Saturday, April 7, 2012: Family/Marriage

There is an immense onslaught on family life.  There has probably never been a time in history when marriage and family life have been under such strain.  Purposeful, systematic, intelligent and persevering prayer is necessary in this area.

Prayer Points for the Husbands/Fathers:
1.) Pray that husbands will love their wives as Christ loves the church. (Eph.5: 25-32; Col. 3:19; 1 Pet. 3:7).
2.) Pray that the father will be the priest in the home by giving guidance and praying for his family.
3.) Pray that the father will exercise his authority given to him by God and not leave it to his wife.
4.) Pray that the husband will be reasonable towards his wife.  Pray for the husband for patience with his wife and for self-control with regard to his family.
5.) Pray that he will be aware of his wife’s need for love, safety and security, together with all her other needs and that he will pay attention to them.
6.) Pray that he will exercise leadership (spiritually as well as socially) at home and that he will provide for his family.

Prayer Points for the Wives/Mothers
7.)  Pray that wives will submit to their husbands in everything as the church is submissive to Christ (Eph.5: 22-24; 1 Peter 3:1-3; Eph. 5:33).
8.) Pray for a quiet and gentle spirit, and that she will know when to keep quiet.  Pray for the wife for patience with her husband.
9.) Pray that she will respect her husband and that she will not try to dominate or prescribe to him.
10.) Pray that she will not complain about her husband but will respect him and try to meet his needs.
Pray that the wife will accept her husband’s leadership.
11.) Pray that the wife will realize that her husband is a fellow sinner, that she will have patience with his faults, and that she will allow him the freedom to be himself.
12.) Specifically pray against a domineering attitude in the wife (especially in cases where she is spiritually stronger than her husband), because this can cause endless damage to the children.  Also pray against any form of manipulation on the part of the wife.

Prayer Points for the Children:

6.) Pray for the figures of authority with whom they have daily contact: teachers, sports coaches, parents, grandparents, etc.

8.) Pray that they would resist the Evil One who will try to destroy their lives.
9.) While they’re young, begin to pray for the right choice of career and marriage partners.
10.) Pray that they will love God and His Word, and also pray for their joy in life.

3.) Pray for the church to take her place at the Ekklesia; governing body.

Top State Issues

Drug Epidemic
Drug use is a major problem for the small islands. Recent studies declare that Hawaii leads the nation in meth use, and in drug testing, the “positive prevalence rate for the drug was 410 percent greater than the national average.” (1) Please pray for drug use rate to be lowered drastically in the years to come.

Another big issue for Hawaii is homelessness. Steep living costs combined with a poor national economy has fed into this, and although the unemployment rate is at only 6.5% (which is low compared to the national average), this is quite a large number of people to be unemployed given Hawaii’s population which is under 1.4 million. (2) Please pray for homelessness to decrease, and the employment rate to increase.

Homosexual Union
In early January, Hawaii legalized “civil unions” for homosexual couples, and some ceremonies even took place in churches according to a CBN report. A civil union is a union whose rights are protected by the supported state, yet not recognized nor protected federally, as normal marriage is. A small number of states have legalized homosexual civil unions. Please be in prayer for the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) community to awaken to the freedom, security, and salvation found in Christ, and pray against all legislation being pushed to legalize same-sex marriage in Hawaii.

2.) Pray for protection, salvation and grace upon all of the Hawaii candidates and their families.
3.) Ask the Lord to reveal Himself in powerful ways to each candidate.

Current Elected Officials

For a list of Hawaii’s current elected officials, please visit this webpage.

The Word of God directs us to pray for our governmental officials:

“I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.” -1 Timothy 2:1-4

As a leader who had influence in multiple realms of society, the Apostle Paul understood that praying for leaders within governmental structure was not only a natural Christian value, but also a way to see God’s principles enacted within a nation, stemming first from those leaders’ hearts. Following Paul’s example, let’s pray for the leadership of Hawaii!

Who must we pray for?
• Politicians: the president, cabinet, parliament, diplomats, opposition parties, ambassadors, etc.
• The legal profession:  judges, advocates, lawyers, and legal advisers.
• Protection services:  heads of police, heads of the military.

• Educational leaders:  teachers, inspectors, lecturers, headmasters, and rectors.
• Cultural leaders:  prominent persons in the entertainment and sports world, managements of cultural organizations, etc.
• Commercial leaders: figures of authority in the business world, business leaders, economists, bankers, etc.
• People in authority in the media:  editors, executive officials at radio and television Stations, editors of magazines.
• Municipal and government officials:  mayors, town clerks, and executive officials.
• Social leaders:  chair persons of clubs and societies.

Prayer Points

1.) Pray for their salvation so that they can be reconciled to God. Pray that they will come into contact with the gospel and that they will experience the love of God. Pray specifically that the Lord will send people to them who can witness to them.
2.) Pray that the Holy Spirit will convict them of sin and that they will confess their sins before God and be delivered from the Evil One.
3.) Pray for their families (wives and children), for their salvation and that they will have a positive influence on whoever is a political leader in their family.
4.) Pray for those in office as they execute their duties, that they will act fairly and humanely.
5.) Pray that the Holy Spirit will pour out the love of God into the person’s life, “...because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us” (Rom. 5:5).
6.) Pray according to Mic.6: 8: “He has showed you, o man, what is good.  And what does the Lord require of you?  To act justly and to love kindness and mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” Pray for those that God wants in political offices, that they will govern fairly and do that which is right.
