A friend told me the story of an African-American Christian who was asked to speak at a public school during February, which is Black History month.  His subject was to be African-American history in America. Out of fear over
separation of church and state issues, at the last minute the school’s principal asked the speaker to change the message by taking out all references to God. I was told that this speaker replied, “It would be easier to change the color of my skin than to alter God’s record of faithfulness by taking Him out of our history.”

How true, not only for African Americans, but also for all people in America. We do have a godly historical foundation that is inextricably bound to us because of God’s covenant with our forefathers.  Unfortunately, the Democratic Party, when it decided to take God out of its platform and promote sin as an agenda, inaugurated war against biblical values and the Christian heritage of many of its members, especially African Americans.

Bishop E.W. Jackson makes a clarion call in this video clip, which is no political endorsement, but rather a biblical reinforcement. The church in the Black community must heed this clarion call for an exodus from any platform hostile to God. God’s history with the Black Church can’t be altered or changed, and when any party attempts to change that, it’s time to change our allegiance! Bishop Jackson is not alone, and there is a remnant God is raising up. I don’t know him personally, but I must say, he flat nailed it!  This video has gone viral and is a must see!
